Sinhal's Segment are made out of selected & correctly graded prime 18/8 stainless steel bars. Raw material is cut to size & ideally heated, very high energy is imparted in the hot bar through sophisticated forging process. The required circular shape is achieved through closed die forgings.

SALIENT FEATURES

Sinhal's segments are Tea board approved & are manufactured as per ISI specification under ISS 8748/1978.
Our segments ensure that the roller teeth retain its sharpness for a longer time & don't wear out fast. Higher impart strength prevents the teeth from being destroyed.
Sinhal's high tensile strength segments ensure resharpening with minimum loss of metal as they are free from internal flows of metallic structure.
Segment rings are normally supplied with plain faces but can also be provided with jig drilled pin holes & pins. Standard pin size is 5 mm but 8-10 mm pin can also be given.
Segments can be resharpened & used till 7.001" in case of 8.5" & 8.25" rings.

Remarks - The diff' between the circumferential & spiral groove is very important, tooth
ratio of 1:1 is also important. The Chasing profile for U & V chasers are 55 or 45 degree
& milling angle of cutters are 70 & 60 degree.
